This is a great picture to make, maybe for someone who has tried needle-felting before.
It is done on white acrylic felt.
It is approx. 38cm x 30cm
The kit contains:
stencils for the flowers;
outline guides to trace the birds onto the felt;
carbon paper;
white acrylic felt for the picture & the birds;
all the wool fibres with colours ready-blended;
colour photos of the birds and blossom for guidance;
very comprehensive instructions with lots of colour photos.
Just lay the white acrylic on a needle felting brush or sponge and stab the fibres in. There are detailed photographic instructions of how to make the picture. This is actually me demonstrating the picture and my husband taking the pics and writing the instructions. All the fibres are ready blended for you, so you just follow the 'painting by numbers' instructions.
Why not have a go.
The picture will need to be mounted before framing. It would probably look better in a deep frame. Or you can sew it/glue it to a canvas, make a bag out of it or even a cushion.
